The original Kubes hit single.

This song was the first home studio-produced single. Travis' first true production credit and another collaboration on songwriting between Travis and Spencer. This track was recorded very quickly, almost entirely in a single day. Landry's drums were tracked first, and then all the other instrumental parts afterward without him.

Still to this day "NYK" is one of The Kubes' most popular and enduring songs. Released at the height of the pandemic, this song was crafted to be a rip-roaring jam that could stand on its own as a radio-like single.
